I-Mobile: Configure Ericsson Cradlepoint R1900 Router

Issue:

How to configure Ericsson Cradlepoint R1900 Router to use with an I-Mobile DVR?

Resolution:

1. Log into Router Web UI.

2. Select "NETWORKING".

3. Select "Local Networks".

4. Select "Local IP Networks".

5. Select "Primary LAN" and click on "Edit".

6. Change IP address to "192.168.1.254".

7. Change subnet mask to "255.255.255.0".

8. Next, select "SECURITY".

9. Select "Zone Firewall".

10. Select "Port Forward & Proxy".

11. Under Port Forwarding Rules, select "Add".

12. Add Name: "NVR_admin", Internet Port: 8200, Forwarding to: 192.168.1.129.

13. Add Name: "NVR_RTSP", Internet Port: 554, Forwarding to: 192.168.1.129.

14. Add Name: "NVR_status", Internet Port: 12088, Forwarding to: 192.168.1.129.

15. Add Name: "NVR_DirectNDC", Internet Port: 6900, Forwarding to: 192.168.1.129.

16. Add Name: "NVR_GPS", Internet Port: 14001, Forwarding to: 192.168.1.129.

17. Select "SYSTEM".

18. Select "Administration".

19. Select "GPS".

20. Make sure "Enable GPS" is checked.

21. Under "Send to Clients", Select "Add".

22. Add Name: "R1900", Port: "14001", Language: "NMEA" and check "RMC only", default time internal: "1 second".

23. Under "Send to Servers", Select "Add".

24. Add Name: "DVR", Server: "192.168.1.129", Port: "14001", Language: "NMEA", check "RMC Only", default time internal: 1 second.

25. Select "SYSTEM".

26. Select "GPIO's".

27. Select "2 on power cable (in)".

28. Check the "Enabled" box.

29. Change Action to "Ignition Sensing".

30. Change Power Off Timeout (seconds) to "1200".

*NOTE: this will set the Power Off Timeout to 20 minutes.

31. Make sure to save your settings before exiting the Router Configuration Menu.

32. Done.
