Issue:
How to format a newly installed hard drive on an I-Mobile DVR.
*NOTE: This process is required when "Auto Format" is turned off.
Resolution:
1. Insert the hard drive into the I-Mobile DVR and then power on the DVR.
2. Launch IDIS Center.
3. Right-click on your DVR from the list of Devices and click on "Remote Setup".
4. Select "SYSTEM-->Storage", then click on "Not Formatted" as shown below:
5. Next, click on "Not Using" as shown below:
6. Click on "Record" to select that option as shown below:
7. Next, Click on "Format".
8. Read the warning message to confirm that you are ready to erase the hard drive, then click on "Format" to continue.
9. You will see a message indicating that the hard drive is "Formatting..." as shown below:
10. After the format has completed, you should now see "Record" and "In Use" as shown below:
11. You can now exit the setup menu as the format has been completed.
12. Done!
