IDIS Solution Suite | How to Import Devices from a Device Information File

Issue:

How to import devices into your IDIS Solution Suite Software using a Device Information File.

Resolution:

1. Launch "IDIS Solution Suite Setup" and login to the system.

2. Click on "Device", then click on the Plus Symbol "+" at the bottom as shown below.

3. Click on "Scan Mode" and select "Device Information File".

4. Click on "Browse..." and select the *.dat file that has your exported device list.

5. Select the *.dat file then click on "Open".

6. Click on "Start Scan" to load the Device List.

7. Click on "Ok" after reading the message below.

8. Enter the "Password", then press the "OK" button.
Note: The password entered is from when the *.dat file was created.

9. Select the devices that you want to import and click on "Add" as shown below.

*NOTE: You can choose to "Select All" or you can select devices individually.

10. The status of the devices that were successfully added will show as "Authenticated", then you can click on "Close" as shown below.

11. Your newly added devices will now be listed under "Device" as shown below.

12. Done!
